DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Spills: Wet chamois towel, wring out and place on spill.
- Preventing and removing carpet stains: To prevent a spill from becoming a stain, first blot up as much of the moisture as possible with a damp chamois *DO NOT RUB*
- For fresh spills: Plain soda or mix equal parts of white vinegar with water. Pour on area, let set a few seconds, blot with damp chamois. Wring chamois tightly, let set on spot for 5-10 minutes or until dry.
- Oil Stains: For grease related stains ; use a mixture of lukewarm water and a no soap cleaner. Loosen with a soft brush, wait a few minutes and absorb liquid with a damp chamois towel. Wet with cold water and a tablespoon of white vinegar to cut the suds and then absorb with a German towel.
- *For other old stains: Saturate with white vinegar, then blot. Flush with cold water 2 or 3 times, blotting after each cold water flush.
- Carpet and soft absorbent surface: For wet spills, use chamois cloth damp, wring out, fold over several times, press down with fingers . For stubborn stains, dilute stain with soapy water, repeat if necessary. Finish with equal parts of vinegar and water.
- Polishing: Chamois should be used dry with your favorite polishing cleaners.
- Autos: Chamois towel may be used with soaps to wash your car. It does a great job because it holds so many suds. For drying, use chamois towel just as you would a regular chamois. German towel may be used for waxing ; wet or dry to apply wax , use dry to remove.
- Paints: (oil based) Chamois towel may be used to pick up even oil based paints, grease, etc. To remove material from chamois towel, simply rinse out paint thinner or degreaser, and then follow normal washing instructions.
- Miscellaneous: Chamois towel may be used on any surface to pick up any liquid. Most substances will wash right out of chamois towel. If heavy old, grease, paint, etc. is picked up, rinse out thoroughly before washing.
- Other uses: Chamois towel can be used as a kitchen towel, substitute for paper towels, defrosting refrigerator, appliances , washcloth , bathroom tile, workshop, pet accidents , etc.
Care of German Towel: Use chamois towel damp for most uses. Can be used dry as above. Machine washable - dry flat or over a towel rack. Caution: Do not dry in gas or electric dryers; hang dry.
